Faculty for Palestine reports that the Wilfrid Laurier University Faculty Association passed a motion on 2024-04-18 that it describes as a BDS motion, and a University of Ottawa APUO motion lists the association among unions that called for divestment from and boycott of institutions and corporations.

Wilfrid Laurier University Faculty Association passed a BDS motion on academic freedom, preservation of Palestinian education, and solidarity with Palestine. The motion passed with a strong majority on April 18, 2024. It calls for a permanent ceasefire and condemns the scholasticide in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem.
