Privacy, terms and contact

What we keep, what a listing means, and how to reach us.

Contact and legal notices

To fix a listing, use Report a correction on its page. For legal notices and anything else, email legal@reversebds.com. We read every notice and correct or remove anything shown to be wrong.

Privacy

There are no accounts, ad trackers or social pixels, and we don't keep your searches or the location you share with the map. We count visits with Google Analytics: it sets a cookie and records the pages you open, your browser and device type, and an approximate area (such as your city) that Google works out from your connection. It never receives what you type into search (search pages don't load it), and its advertising features are turned off. Cloudflare, our host, handles every request to deliver the site and may keep short-lived technical records. Map tiles for the area you view load from OpenFreeMap. Report and response forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check for bots.

Reports

A report stores what you type, any photos (with location and camera data removed) and, if you choose, a location rounded to about 100 metres. It does not store your name or email. Your connection is used only briefly, in scrambled form, to limit abuse. We never publish who reported, and we share report details only if the law requires it. Once a day, the text of new reports and corrections (without photos) is emailed to the site operator's Gmail inbox for review. Photos from rejected reports are deleted after 30 days.

What a listing means

Each listing records specific public statements or actions, with their evidence and dates. It describes what was said or done, not anyone's character or motives, and it reflects the evidence as of the dates shown. No reports found never means a business has been checked. Business responses are published as sent. When you report, send only what you saw in public: no private messages and no one's private information.

Corrections and removal

If a listing is wrong, out of date or about the wrong business, use Report a correction on the listing or email us. A moderator reviews it, and the listing may be marked as disputed while that happens. The business can also respond on the listing. If a business withdraws its statement and we can verify it, the listing shows a retraction for 12 months and is then removed.
