The Social Justice Centre (UBC) is listed among the 20 UBC student groups that signed the March 2022 Statement of Solidarity of the UBC Divestment Coalition, which asks the University of British Columbia to divest from nine companies (published on ams.ubc.ca). A March 2022 article on spheresofinfluence.ca names the UBC Social Justice Centre among the 20 student clubs of the coalition that put the AMS divestment motion forward.

AMS Council voted yes on a motion that would urge the university to divest from companies involved or complicit in “violating Palestinian human rights.” ... this motion was not put forward by a single group but instead by a Divestment Coalition of 20 student clubs including Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights UBC, the UBC Social Justice Centre, and Climate Justice UBC among others.
